My Questions and Quran Answers Q17:
Dose Islam agree the commandments of Judaism and Christianity? Is there any similarity between religions commandments? :(please publish it for non-Moslems The Quran has referred to the competence of the Prophets in its chapters (surahs) to the extent that God commands Prophet of Islam to follow Quran way. He also brings Moses’ commandments in Quran and named them straight path. Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason." (151- Al-An’am) (Surah 6) And do not approach the orphan's property except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity. And when you testify, be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember. (152- Al-An’am) (Surah 6) And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous. (153- Al-An’am) (Surah 6) Yes, these are the life-giving commandments of Prophet Moses (AS) which are emphasized in Quran. Now You Judge: What is Islam? And who is Muslim? Whoever follows these commandments is called Muslim and whoever in whatever dress and whatever job does not follow these commandments is not Muslim. Prophet Muhammad stated that there are three things no one (being Muslim or non-Muslim) should leave:
1. Doing good to parents
2. Fulfilling the promise
3. Faithful to the trust (Nahj-ul-Fasaaha, page 115) He also mentioned: The more Muslim is the one among you whose morality is the best and understanding of the religion is deeper. www.imammouod.com arbainnajafkarbala4.blogfa.com
